What to look for: The NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Davidson County have designed, planted, and maintained the demonstration garden at the agricultural center for over fifteen years. The garden is open to the public, and many of the plants are labeled.

The garden has several purposes, it presents new plants to the public, it provides a sanctuary for pollinators, and it demonstrates plants that thrive in a variety of growing conditions.

The agriculture center is located in a historic school building situated on a main street. The colorful garden is appreciated by many people passing it daily.

Horticulture: There is a hot, dry, unirrigated area, a shaded area, a head-high planter and a lush sunny area.
