x Heucherella

Common Name(s):

Description

Hucherellas or Foamy Bells are a clumping perennial hybrid between Heuchera and Tiarella.  They feature a compact habit with delicate colorful interesting leaves. Plant in partial shade in moist welll-drained organically rich soils. They work well planted in small groups, massed in a border front, along a walkway or patio, in a rock garden, woodland or even window boxes.

Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems:  No serious insect or disease problems.  Heavy frost followed by warm temperatures can cause the roots to heave.
