Description

Dark green margins with broad cream white to cream yellow center; also sold as 'Everbite', 'Variegata', 'Aureo variegata' and ''Old Gold'.  Good container plants in addition to being a non-spreading ground cover.   Tolerates wet planting sites.

This plant was formally known as  Carex hachijoensis.

 

Inflorescence:  Insignificant flowers in spring
