What to look for: There is a feeling of being transported back in time in this garden. Even though this is an old garden it is as vibrant today as it was one hundred years ago. The gardens feature formal, English design, but other gardens, including the Vegetable Garden and the Japanese Teahouse, show off plants in other ways.

The Palm House was completed in 1913. It anchors the Reynolda Gardens, which have been open to the public for 100 years. While strolling the garden views of the historic Palm House can be seen from many aspects.

In 2020, the staff planted forty-four cherry trees, recreating the iconic cherry tree allée. The best time to see the cherry trees in blossom is between mid-February and early April.

Horticulture: The garden is maintained by a team of professional horticulturists.
