Description

This foundation planting flows nicely around the corners of the house. It has a lush but controlled feeling with a variety of textures, heights and plant interest. The planting is rather formal but retains the personal touch of the homeowners. The house was built on old farm land south of Lexington twelve years ago.

The espalier Pyracantha takes work to maintain but is lovely against the south facing wall.
