Description

Baby Blanket® is a floribunda hybrid rose Bred by William Kordes 111 in 1983. It was then introduced to the USA by Jackson Perkins as 'Baby Blanket' as part of the County Series Collection. and in Germany in 1993 as  'Sommermorgen'. Parentage is Parentage: 'KORweirim' x 'KORfalt'.

This vigorous rose will grow up to 3 feet tall and spread up to 5 feet wide. It prefers full sun in fertile moist well-drained soil. Prune in early spring by removing old, dead or diseased canes and cutting the remaining ones by 1/3. It will need spring freeze protection.

The 2-inch pink flowers with yellow stamen have a mild fragrance and occur in clusters starting in spring and repeat bloom all season. The small glossy leaves are borne on thornless to nearly so stems.

Use Baby Blanket ® in mass as a ground cover, in a container or in the border.
