Chinese Coffee Tree is a deciduous small tree native to China in the bean family. It is slow-growing and has huge bipinnately compound leaves that emerge purple and then turn green. In the fall they have showy bright yellow leaves. They cast a light shade so make a great tree to have under canopy plantings.
