Urban Legend® rose Rosa Oso Easy® Group
Other Common Name(s):
- Description
-
The Oso Easy® Group is a group of landscape roses released as a Proven Winners® Color Choice® variety. They were developed to be bushy, disease-resistant, hardy and have repeat blooming.
Most are compact bushes between 2 and 4 feet tall and wide but Mango Salsa and Fragrant Spreader are shorter with a more spreading habit. These roses need fertile well-drained soil in full sun. Fertilize in spring and summer and apply mulch to control weeds and retain moisture. They will need water during dry spells. Deadheading is not needed.
These shrubs have a variety of flowers from single to double in a range of colors including red, pink, orange, yellow, and lavender. Some of them will produce rose hips if the spent flowers are not pruned off. The glossy green leaves occur on stems with prickles.
Uses these plants in a border, in groups, as a specimen or a container.
Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems: Good disease resistance. See pests of roses to the left.
