Description

Lavender Dream rose is a hybrid shrub rose in the Rosacea family. It was bred in the Netherlands by G. Peter Ilsink in 1984.  This arching shrub grows from 4 to 8 feet tall and wide.  It produces showy semi-double lavender blooms in large clusters from June through October. Blooms have little to no fragrance. Stems have thorns.

Lavender Dream does best in full sun but will tolerate shade.  Plant in fertile, well-drained soil.  In the spring, remove old or diseased wood or canes that cross.  Prune back by a third to encourage new growth.    It is disease resistant.

Plant in borders, specimens, or as accent plants in the garden.
