'Climbing Rainbow's End' is a miniature rose in the Roseaceae (rose) family. The flowers and leaves of this cultivar are smaller than other climbing roses. The U.S. Plant Patent for this plant is #11,257 and it was issued on February 29, 2000, it is a relative of the miniature rose R. ‘Savalife’ RAINBOW’S END
Deep green leaves provide a backdrop for the showy bicolor yellow flowers with pink to red edges that fade to orange and red. The blooms appear from May to frost providing interest in the garden from spring to fall. It typically grows from 5 to 12 feet tall, usually 10 to 12 feet with a spread of and 3 to 6 feet at maturity.
Grow in fertile medium moisture well-drained soils in full sun for best results.
Plant so it can climb up a trellis or fence or allow to drape over a wall. It can also be allowed to trail on the ground like a groundcover. Even though this cultivar has shown good disease resistance to common foliar problems be sure to provide good air circulation wherever it is planted.
Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems: Potential insect problems include aphids, beetles, borers, scale, thrips, leafhoppers and mites. Roses are generally susceptible to a large number of disease problems but this cultivar is more disease resistant.
