Description

Podocarpus is an evergreen tree or shrub that works well as a specimen, hedge or screen.  It grows in sun to shade, and prefers well-drained soil. It does not tolerate wet sites.

'Maki' is a smaller, slower growing version of the species.

CAUSES ONLY LOW TOXICITY IF EATEN.  Children may eat the fleshy seeds that resemble fruits.
