Description

One of the most popular Japanese anemone cultivars is 'Honorine Jobert', which has been a favorite in southern gardens since Civil War times.

Propagation: Division in spring, root cuttings in winter

Season: Late summer to fall

Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems:  Leaf spot, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and rust are some diseases issues.  Insects effecting this plant include caterpillars, slugs and nematodes.  A few varieties of beetles may defoliate this plant.
