What to look for: This coastal Brunswick garden is planted between the house and the circular drive. It uses repetition with hydrangeas, ferns, and grasses to create a pleasing effect. The oak provides shade to the home in the summer as well as providing habitat for songbirds, small mammals, and is a larval host plant for many butterfly and moth species. The spring blooms of the hydrangeas add a nice pop of blue color.
Horticulture: This home is within walking distance to the ocean so plants need to be salt tolerant.
