Rosa 'Ausman' is a spreading shrub rose with a strong, old rose fragrance. The blooms are medium-sized and very full. Typically, the flowers have over 41 petals on solitary blooms that form in small clusters. Presents flushes of cupped-to-flat blooms throughout the season.
With patience and pruning, it can be trained to grow as a small climber.
