Rosa 'Pink Grootendorst'

Common Name(s):

Phonetic Spelling
RO-zuh
Description

Mildly fragrant Rosa 'Pink Grootendoorst' has relatively small pink blooms, typically under 2".  However, the flowers are continuous blooming, showy and make an excellent choice for cut flowers.  Growing as a shrub in full sun, this plant works well as a windbreak or a hedge.  The foliage is light green and crinkled.  A very cold hardy specimen.

Providing air circulation around this plant and removing fallen leaves can help to prevent disease.

Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant problems:  Disease can include clack spot, rose rust, powdery mildew and downy mildew.  May have issues with aphids, rose leaf hopper, red spider mites, caterpillars, and sawfly.  Deer and rabbits can cause damage.
