Description

Magic carpet rose is a deciduous perennial in the Rosa family that was introduced to the United States in 1993 by Jackson & Perkins. Parentage is Grouse x Class Act.

This rose will spread 4-6 feet wide and 1-3 feet tall in a bushy form. It prefers full sun in well-drained fertile soil. Minimal pruning is needed.

The semi-double mauve flowers have a strong spicy scent and repeat blooms throughout the growing season. The glossy dark green leaves grow in stems with prickles. Good disease resistance

Magic carpet rose can be used as a sunny ground cover, in the front of the border or even in a pot.
