Falling in Love is a hybrid tea shrub rose in the Rosaceae family bred by Tom Carruth in 2006 and was introduced by Weeks Roses in 2007. Parentage is 'Moonstone' x 'Marilyn Monroe'.
This upright bushy shrub will grow 4-6 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide in full sun in amended well-drained moist garden soil. Pruning to remove old canes and dead branches and to shape should be accomplished in the late fall and early spring.
The 4-5 inch flowers are pink with cream on the undersides, 26 to 33 petals and a mild to strong fruity fragrance. It blooms in flushes throughout the season, deadheading will encourage additional blooms. The leaves are semi-glossy and grow on stems with prickles.
Use this shrub in the border, in small groups, as a foundation plant, an accent or a specimen in a pollinator, cutting or cottage garden.
