Description

Coral Drift is a hybrid miniature rose in the Rosaceae family bred by Alain Meilland of France and was introduced in 2004. Parentage is The Fairy x (Rote Max Graf x unnamed seedling).

This low-growing shrub is 1-2 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide with a dense bushy rounded form. Plant in full sun in fertile well-drained moist soil. Add a slow-release fertilizer in spring and then again in summer for more fall blooms.

The orange-red flowers have yellow undertones and are abundantly produced from spring to fall. They are 1-2 inches wide with 16-25 petals in a cupped to flat form and grow in clusters. The foliage is medium semi-glossy green on stems with prickles.

Use this small shrub mass planted as a ground cover, in the border front, along walkways or in containers.
