Fried Egg Plant is given that name because of the large white flowers with lemony yellow centers. The flowers can be enjoyed on the tree as well as on the ground after they drop. It is a large shrub or small evergreen tree in the tea family. Very little maintenance is needed other than a light pruning in spring after flowering to maintain shape.
