Description

 A dwarf plant that is a compact globose spreading mound.  Its branches are typically horizontal with upright branchlets and stiff glossy dark green needles that grow in bundles of two.  

Some problems include its sensitivity to Schaeropsis tip blight, Dothistroma needle blight.  Pests affecting this plant include pine moth and pine wilt nematode.

As it ages, it may develop some drought tolerance.
