Description

Golden Globes Loosestrife is an herbaceous perennial in the primrose family native to China. It is low growing to 6 inches tall and spreads by creeping stems which root at the nodes to 1 foot wide to form a dense groundcover. In late spring to summer it is covered in cup-shaped yellow flowers. Cultivars available.

Plant in humusy moist well-drained soils in sun to partial shade. Use in the border, as a ground cover, rain gardens, along ponds and draping over rock walls.
