Savin Juniper is a low growing needled evergreen in the cypress family that is native to Europe. The bright green scale-like foliage is attractive and grows to 1 foot tall and 6-8 feet wide.
It is easy to grow and tolerant of a wide variety of soils except for poorly drained ones. It is drought tolerant once established. Use in the rock garden, on slopes for erosion control and as a ground cover.
