Calgary Carpet Juniper is a low-growing, spreading shrub in the cypress family. It reaches only 6-9 inches high but can spread 6-10 feet wide. The foliage is soft and green and tolerates heat, cold, drought and full sun.
It tolerates a wide range of soil types except for wet ones and is easy to grow. Use on slopes for a ground cover and erosion control, along walkways, in borders or in rock gardens.
