This is a heavily bearing cultivar, bearing from trunk out which means you need to thin the fruit to avoid biennial bearing and fruit drop. It is a self-pollinating tree, other potential pollinizers are Red Delicious, Gala and Empire. The size of the tree depends on whether a semi-dwarf or a dwarf version you choose. This cultivar is heat-tolerant and cold-hardy.
