Cissus antarctica
Common Name(s):
- Phonetic Spelling
- SIS-us an-tarc-tic-ah
- Description
-
Kangaroo vine is a popular houseplant that preforms well in bright to low light situations as well as in hanging baskets. It can grow 7-10 feet indoors and has an airy texture. Pots need to have excellent drainage.
Plant in a potting mix and pinch back leaves for a more bushy habit. Leaves will turn brown and die if placed in drafty areas or near heating vents. Once established, plants should be kept in the same location as they dislike change. Grow as a hanging plant or train to a trellis.
