Deciduous shrub from Korea which is drought tolerant and grows in a wide range of conditions except for wet ones, with yellow flowers, red berries and good fall color. Spreads by suckers and can form thickets and is considered invasive in some states. Easy to transplant and seldom damaged by deer. Light pruning may be needed to maintain a good shape. Handle with care- many spines present!
