Marsh Daisy Armeria maritima

Phonetic Spelling
ar-MER-ee-ah mar-ih-TEE-mah
Description

Sea thrift tolerates moderate salt spray and grows naturally on the Mediterranean coastline. It tends to form tufts or clumps and a rounded mat. You should provide perfect drainage or clumps may die out. The short, grass-like foliage may be overgrown by taller, spreading perennials if care is not taken to protect its site from intrusion. This plant does not tolerate foot traffic. You can propogate this plant through clump division.
