Indigo Agastache Agastache 'Astello Indigo'

Phonetic Spelling
ah-GAH-sta-kee
Description

Astello Indigo is a hybrid Agastache in the mint family. The upright spikes are fully covered with fragrant, deep indigo-blue flowers with a minty scent that attracts butterflies and bees and grows vigorously in a compact clump. Plant in full to part sun in well-drained soils. It is drought and heat tolerant once established. As with all Agastaches, it is important not to plant them in clay and poorly drained soils. Winter wetness will do them in.

Grow this plant in containers, a pollinator garden, and mass plantings. In colder climates, it can be grown as an annual. This plant will provide you with a long season of blooms and attract many pollinators to your yard.

Problem: Crown rot in wet soils.
