Amur maple is a deciduous small tree or shrub in the Sapindaceae (soapberry) family native to Asia that prefers cool summer climates and is one of the hardier maples. Amur Maple is adaptable to most well-drained soils and will grow in sun to dappled shade. Use as a specimen, in a container on the patio or understory tree. It is also used in Bonsai.
