Description

Stand fast Norway maple is a small tree or shrub in the maple family (Sapindaceae) that is a cultivar of the Norway maple. 

This tree grows 10-20 feet tall and only 1-3 feet wide with a low ground clearance of 1 foot. Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. Do not let the soil dry out. Little pruning is required.

The foliage is dark green and turns dark red in the fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by winged samaras. It will freely reseed. It is drought and urban conditions tolerant.

Use this tree as a specimen and for verticle accent. It can be used on the patio, in small spaces or grown in a container.
