Description

Does best in hot weather; can be severely pruned in spring; cut off faded flowers to promote continuous flowering; large shrub or small tree.  May be pruned to the ground in early spring like a perennial to envirograte growth. Interesting foilage makes an attractive shrub boarder.

Wildlife Value:  Attracts butterflies.

Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems: No serious insect or disease problems. Leaf spot and root rot occasionally affect stressed plants.  It may suffer from frost damages during cold winters.
