Description

'Nantucket' Viburnum is a compact cultivar that was released in 2008 and is a cross of V. x 'Eskimo' (v. x 'Cayuga' x V. utile) and V. macrocephalum.  It is evergreen in the south and semievergreen elsewhere. The shrub can grow to 12 feet over time with a spread of 7 feet. The large showy clusters of white flowers appear in April and fruit production is usually sparse. It has good heat tolerance and can be grown to zone 9. Drought tolerant once established.
