Tabletop Elm is a small tree with horizontal branches and weeping branchlets. It is usually grafted onto a standard stock and the crown shape can vary from being evenly spreading, spreading to one side in a fan-shape manner or being more weeping. It prefers full sun in moist well-drained loam but is adaptable to other soil types.
Use as a specimen or small shade tree. However it is susceptable to Dutch elm disease and other trees are a better choice.
