Other Common Name(s):

Previously known as:

  • Dyssodia tenuiloba
  • Hymenatherum tenuilobum
Phonetic Spelling

Description

Golden Fleece features many yellow daisy-like flowers above aromatic foliage and is best used as an annual in borders or as a ground cover. The showy yellow flowers bloom summer to early fall and are native to Texas and Mexico. They do best in well-drained sandy soils in full sun. Blooming may decline in hot humid climates and it will self-sow in good conditions.
