Description

'Rose Rhapsody' is a deep pink Hybrid Tea rose in the Rosaceae family bred by in the United States by Dr. Keith W. Zary in 1999. Parentage is Fragrant Cloud x Ingrid Bergman.

This shrub grows 4-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide and prefers full sun in amended well-drained moist garden soil. Prune in late winter to early spring to remove old and dead canes and prune to 1/3 its size and shape. Requires protection from spring freeze.

The large deep pink blooms are 6-7 inches across, 41-50 petals, high-centered and strongly fragrant. They bloom on long stems and repeat blooms throughout the season. Glossy green foliage is on stems with prickles.
