Rosa Morning Magic™ 'RADmor'
- Phonetic Spelling
- RO-zuh
- Description
-
Rosa RADmor was bred in the US by William J Radler in 1993. 'Morning Magic' was introduced by Conard-Pyle of Star Roses in 2008.
This large-flowered climbing rose boasts small clusters of showy pink blooms that open in flushes throughout the season. Deadheading will encourage reblooming. The typical bloom will be around 4" in diameter, however, some can be slightly larger.
Reaching heights of only 6-8', it is more compact than many other climbing rose plants.
Although cold hardy, its new spring growth should have some protection from hard freezes which can cause canker, die-back and death.
High resistance to blackspot.
Blooming occurs on new wood, so pruning should be done in early spring before the spring flush of growth. Pruning should include removal of any dead or diseased wood as well as canes that cross. The plant can be cut back by one third its size in warmer climates, a little more in colder locations.
