Description

Though the flower is beautiful the water hyacinth plant is extremely aggressive and spreads by stolons.  Do not put in natural waterways or in places that floodwaters could carry to natural waterways.

It requires abundant sunlight and warm temperatures.  It has showy purple flowers and long, feathery, dangling roots.
