Bright yellow striped bamboo with green stripes of various width that makes a good container plant. It is an aggressive spreader by way of its rhizomes. It is often grown for its foliage.
This plant is shade tolerant but will show its best foliage colors in full sun. In warmer climates, it can be grown as an evergreen.
