Swedish Ivy is a tender but drought-tolerant, herbaceous perennial shrub often grown as a houseplant. It is a member of the mint family and is native to India and Indo-China. The foliage is evergreen, with an attractive white border around each leaf, providing winter interest.
Swedish Ivy does best in full sun, but does tolerate partial shade. It is easy to grow indoors as a houseplant in bright, mostly sunny sites. Or you can grow it in containers and move the containers outside in summer. However, the plants are frost tender and must be overwintered indoors in any cool climate.
