- Phonetic Spelling
- PY-see--uh A-bees POO-mi-la
- Description
-
A dwarf, flat-topped, compact, rounded with an irregular outline. The foliage is dark green, thin, soft, flexible and glossy. It lies in distinct rows, the branches borne in dense layers. The primary branches turn upwards, the secondary branches tend to droop as the tree matures.
This plant is grown for its attractive foliage.
This plant prefers cooler climates, dislikes and does not do well in the summer heat.
Some plant issues include canker, wood decay, needle case, and rust. Also watch out for red spider mites aphids, bagworms, budworms, and borers.
