Description

Apache Plume is a native deciduous shrub of the southwest USA. It grows 2-6 feet tall and is dense with grayish-white pubescent tangled slender stems. The 2-inch saucer-shaped white blooms appear in spring through fall.

It grows best in dry limestone-based rocky, sandy loam or clay loam soils in sun to part shade. It is very drought tolerant and can be used on slopes to help control erosion. It can self-seed aggressively.
