Description

Chinese Witch Hazel is native to western China and is an upright spreading rounded shrub growing10-15’ tall. The yellow flowers are in drooping clusters, are mildly fragrant and appear in late winter to early spring.

The preference is for acidic well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. It tolerates a wide range of soil types as long as they are well-drained.  This shrub provides winter interest with reddish stems and early blooms.
