Description

Star Tickseed is a perennial wildflower that is native to the central and southeastern US.  It has bright yellow flowers and can grow up to 4 ft tall.

Plant in full sun and dry to medium, well-drained soil.  As it is native to rocky areas, it grows well in poor, rocky, and sandy soil.  It is drought, heat, and humidity tolerant as well.  Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming.
