Phonetic Spelling
kam-ah-MEL-um NO-bi-lay
Description

Use dried flowers for tea, potpourris, or herb pillows. This aromatic plant can be used in making soaps, shampoos and has a calming smell that is not too overpowering.  Drink no more than one cup of tea per day as it contains thuaone. Do not use if pregnant.

This delicate looking flower makes a wonderful edging for any border in your garden. It can be seen in fields, as it spreads to make a blanket effect, bringing its amazing aroma that is a delight to many.

Chamaemelum nobile can be used as a ground cover; however, this ground has a meandering spirit and is generally problem-free. Its roots are creeping and sturdy which allows it to spread and keep a firm foundation.

It blooms in the summer on those lazy, summer days and can even bloom into the fall.

Its blanket effect is a wonderful addition to your garden with the effect of a Victorian garden or a countryside walk. It indeed can be grown in a herb garden and makes a wonderful addition with its aromatic smell.

This plant needs 2-4 inches of space when planting to allow it to grow to its greatest potential.
