Description

'Calidora' upright elephant ear is a cultivar with very large, attractive, tropical-looking leaves.  The plant will grow 5-9 feet tall in a vase shape with arrow-shaped ribbed leaves that can become 6 feet long and 3 feet wide.

It can grow in full sun to nearly full shade and needs fertile, well-drained, continuously moist soils. In NC it will need to overwinter indoors if you have the space or in a greenhouse. Cut back on water in the winter.
