Description

Black Bells is a succulent plant in the dogbane family native to South Africa in tropical dry shrubland and rocky areas.  The stems are pale green, pliant, quadrangular and slightly furrowed. The flowers are deep maroon star-shaped campanula type flowers that are pollinated by flies. They may repeat bloom throughout the season. the clumps of this columnar plant will gradually expand and can be divided 

Grow this plant outdoors in the summer but bring in during the fall and winter. Make sure the pots have many drainage holes and use soils appropriate for succulents and cacti. Do not overwater. Provide with bright light.
