Description

Rose Campion is a short-lived perennial in the pinks or carnation family that is native to Europe and Asia and is generally used as an annual and biennial. The leaves and stems at whitish and woolly and add interest to the garden. The bright hot pink rose-colored flowers add great contrast and appear late spring to early summer. It will reseed itself in the garden. 

Rose Champion tolerates various soil types as long as they are well-drained. It is drought tolerant and does well in rock or crevice gardens. It prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. They can also be used in the border and mass planted.
