'Rose Rhapsody' is a deep pink Hybrid Tea rose in the Rosaceae family bred by in the United States by Dr. Keith W. Zary in 1999. Parentage is Fragrant Cloud x Ingrid Bergman.
This shrub grows 4-5 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide and prefers full sun in amended well-drained moist garden soil. Prune in late winter to early spring to remove old and dead canes and prune to 1/3 its size and shape. Requires protection from spring freeze.
The large deep pink blooms are 6-7 inches across, 41-50 petals, high-centered and strongly fragrant. They bloom on long stems and repeat blooms throughout the season. Glossy green foliage is on stems with prickles.
This rose may be difficult to find commercially. Use the shrub in borders, groups, as a hedge or specimen. It is a good cut flower.
