Description

This is an old-fashioned rose which was introduced in 1834. It is a dense shrub that blooms in summer with large many-petaled creamy pink blooms. It can tolerate some shade and poor soils but prefers full sun and moist well-draining soils.

Watch for aphids as well as diseases encouraged by humidity like black-spot, rust and powdery mildew. For full information on common pests and diseases, please see the Rosa page.
