Baltimore Belle rose is a hybrid rambler in the rose family (Rosaceae) bred by Samuel and John Feast of the United States in 1843. Parentage is Rosa setigera Michaux × Rosa gallica.
This vigorous climbing rose will reach heights of 8 to 13 feet and 6-10 feet wide. It can grow in full sun to partial shade in fertile moist well-drained soils.
The blooms start out light pink fading to white with a button eye and a cup to flat form. They occur in clusters and have a light fragrance. The plant blooms in early summer and then in small flushes through late summer. The foliage is gloss mid-green and many prickles are present.
Use Baltimore Belle rose on any vertical surface as trellises or fences, a barrier, for privacy or a hedge. Works in formal and informal gardens.
